Grave Winds

Party: Ashen (Nomadic), Red Sonja (Sudain), Yusuf/"Trig" (Punbro), Quarxl (Dhraz), Zurina Ovieta (Severent)

Synopsis: A hymn seven squall came screaming out of the eye a few days ago and hit the northern shore of Bag Island. Fortunately, it was in an unpopulated area, however, a ship called The Singing Naiad may have been in those waters just off the coast at the time and has not been seen since. There's a reward for any that can bring back information and hopefully any surviving crew.

Log Entry:

The group arrives to the jungle area where they were searching for signs of the ship and its shipmates. That's when we came across a flower that smelled like death, and a little Gremlin, Pugwampi. I thought I chased the damned thing off so we proceeded to cross the lily pad pathway. While I had no problem getting across the lil pads, some of the party did including Red Sonja and Trig. As Trig is a sea dog, he was fine in the water so I moved to help Red Sonja. This, I'm pretty sure, we just became friends because of that because she finally spoke to me in Common! That's when both Trig and Red Sonja ended up looking like they were drowning. With Quarxl's rope, I tied a rope around Red and was able to pull her to shore safely. Ashen in the meantime almost walks into a giant venus flytrap and sets it on fire. We manage to pull Trig to shore as well and drink some mead in celebration.

We continue along our way and find the shipwreck where a campfire, footprints, and three recent graves seem to have been dug. There were, of course, Zombies of some kind that crawl out of the open graves when we approach. Trig earned his sealegs back a bit by taking out one of the zombies rather quickly. That's when we realized we were surrounded by 5 undead sailors and what looked like an undead captain. We managed to take down all of the pirates and the captain swiftly. We were able to collect some treasure and rescue the lone survivor of the shipwreck.
