The House Without a Name

Synopsis: “See how the day dies with the sunset.

You hear an echo in your mind like a bittersweet memory as you awake to find yourselves deep in an unfamiliar part of the woods with an old building you've never seen before. The siren's call comes from inside. Do you dare to take a look?

Log Entry:

A group of us woke up together outside of a house and we didn't have any idea how we got there, but there we were. So we decided if we were gonna be kidnapped by unknown forces, might as well explore the house for treasure and loot! The house seemed to be abandoned and while Ash took FOREVER to open the front door, the door opened himself. So haunted creepy house. When we entered the door, it screamed like swans totally naturally do in nature, and I decided I didn't want to fight ghosts so I tried to leave and well the forest attacked me. Once the fear left me, I went inside with the others.

Inside the house, we got attacked by some creepy painting until we destroyed it. Myrrah called it a "haunt", whatever that is. Ash and I went and explored a room and came across what looked like some kind of memory of two lovers embracing, which disappeared as quickly as we witnessed it. Myrrah seemed to know more about it, "Those two were lovers. The Arcane family is still around but the gent's noble family went extinct 40 years ago. Maybe they eloped?" So some dramatic rich person bullshit. She went on to let us know that the house looked to be the traditional Lord's Home. As we continued to explore, the 'ghosts' seem to appear again in another room while we hear their story. The woman's name is "Charlene" and they were planning to elope in a Milhouse somewhere outside of Korvosa.

We went to explore more of the house for this weird storytime with ghosts, and we came across a room with giant Assassin Vine monsters. Then Ash hit the thing with fire, Like seriously fire. So I went and hit it with my chakram. The blades seem to do more damage than the fire, which you wouldn't assume such since it's a plant. We were able to destroy the vines and continue looking into the story of the ghosts. Basically, as we explored the house we found that Miss Charlene ended up dying before Mr. Lorde was able to save her. We then had to fight the Direwolves that they fought, in the house. They almost killed Ashe, but we all made it. He was blamed for her death but the case was dropped until a haunted house reached out to him and promised to bring his love back to life.

That's when we found Charlene's Zombie in the last room. She had this weird effect where she entranced the people who looked at her too long. So we took her out quickly. I was thinking I was gonna have to be taking off my shirt to knock him out of it. Anyways, we beat her and someone named Hope Breaker invited us to meet him as our host. Probably has something to do with a strange locket I picked up with people in it, that were not Lordi or Charlene. Anyways...sometime we'll follow up on that. For now, Drinking!
